AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE FOR EXPENDING
Fi1NDS TO REPAIR WELL N0. 3.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLO�dS:
SECTION I:
' That the Council of the City of Fridlley finds that it is necessary
to expend funds for emergency repair of We11 No. 3; that the Con-
sulting Engineer has advised the-Council that such expenditure is
necessary and must be done on an emergency basis; that without said
repair there would be a lack of water for public safety and be a
danger to public health; that accordingly an emergency exists with-
in the provision of 3.06 of the City Charter.

SECTION II:
That it is deemed necessary, therefore, that the City contract and
purchase such necessary labor and material and enter into such
contract or contracts as may be necessary without advertising for
bids for the emergency repair of We11 Vo. 3; and that the total
expenditure for said emergency repairs shall not exceed the sum
of Two Thousand Eight Hundred and no hundredths ($2,800.00) DolLars.
