AN ORDINANCE-TO AMEND THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY,
MINNESOTA BY Mt1KING A.CHANGE IN ZONING DISTRICTS
The Council of the City of Fridley do ardain as follows;
SECTION 1. Appendix D of the City Code of Fridley is amended as heieina.fter
indicated. �
SECTION 2�. The tract or area within the County of Anoka and the City of
Fxidley pxesently zoned as R-1 (single family dwellings) and
described as:
a) The South 50 feet of the North 83 feet of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 12, excepC the West 350 feet thereof,
b) The North 50 feet of the South 83 feet of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 12, excepC the West 50 feet thereof,
Is hereby.designated to-.be in the zoning district M-2
(heavy industrial).
SECTION 3. The tract or area within the County of Anoka and the City of
Fridley presently zoned as,C-2 (general business areas) and
described as;
The North 173 feet of the West 360 feet of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 12, except the �orth 33 feet and the West
50 feet taken for street purposes,

Is hereby designated to be in the zoning district M-2 (heavy
� industxial). �
SECTION 4. The tract or area within the County of Anoka and the City of
Fridley presently zoned as R-2 (limited multiple family dwellings)
aad desctihed as;
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, thence East 50 feet along
the South line of said Nonthwest Quarter of the SouCheast Quarter
to the actual point of beginning, thence North para11e1 to the
WesY line of said Northwest Quarter of Southeast Quarter to a
point 173 feet South of the North line of said Northwest Quarter
of Southeast Quaiter, thence East 2D5 feet parallel to said North
line, thence South 770 feet parallel to the West line of said
NorChwest Quarter of Southeast Quarter, thence in a Southwesterly
direction hack to the actual point of beginning, thence terminating.
All located in Section 12, T-30, R-24, City of Fridley, County of
Anoka, State of Minnesota.
It is the intent of this rezoning request to have the entire
Southeast Quartex of Section 12, Township 30, Range 24 zoned
M-2 (heavy industrial areas) except the following parcels taken
for street purposes; 1) The North 33 feet thereof; 2) The
West 50 £eet thereof; 3) The South 33 feet thereof.
SECTION 5. The Zoning Administrator is directed to change the official zoning �
map to indicate the above zoning changes.
