Ordinance No. 0384 02-19-1968�6 ORDINANCE N0. 384 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 372 OF THE CITY CODE REGULATING AND LICENSING FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS AND FOOD VENDING MACHINES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF. The Council of the City of Fridley do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 372, Section 5, of the Fridley City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION S LICENSE FEES. Fees for Licenses issued hereunder shall be as follows: Itinerant Food Establishment: $15.00 per annum. Perishable Food Vehicle: $5.00 per annum. �- Perishable Eood Vehicle, fleet license: $25.00 pei annum. Retail Candy Shop: $15.00 per annum, plus $5.00 for each -� additional facility on the same premises, as set forth above with respect to food establishments. Readily perishable food vehicle; $5.00 per annum. Readily perishable food vehicle; fleet license: $25.00 per annum. Bakery food vehicle: $15.00 per annum. Catering food vehicle: $100.00 per annum, plus $5.00 per annum for each additional catering food vehicle under the same ownership and operation. . �.Ice Machine; $5.00 per annum for eaGh machine dispensing or . storing ice in a wrapped container; $15.00 per�annum for ail other machines. �Vending Machine: For each machine dispensing food in a wrapped � package or sealed bottle or container, and requiring a coin of not more than ten cents, $5.00 per annum; for each machine dispensing food not so wrapped or sealed, and requiring a coin of not more than ten cents, $10.00 per annum; for all other machines, $15.00 per annum for the first food dispensing unit of the machine, and $5.00 pex annum for each additional food dispensing unit of the same machine, but not to exceed $50.00 for any one machine. Food Establishment: $25.00 per annum. All licenses hereunder shall expire on the 30th day of April of each year; license fees shall be prorated on a monthly basis if the license to be issued is to become effective on any day other than the first day of May of each year. SECTION Sa. INSURANCE POLICIES REQUIRED FOR ICE CREAM VENDORS. No catering food vehicle license shall be issued for a catering food vehicle from which ice cream, sherbert, frozen or frosted desserts or ice cream products are sold and served until the applicant sha11 have filed with the City Clerk proof that he is insured, for the period of the license applied for, against liability for death, injury or property damage caused by any of the vehicles to be licensed, in the following amounts for each vehicle: Death or injury of any one person; Death or injury of two or more persons in the same accident: Property damage per accident: $100,000.00 $3Q�,QQ0.0� $ 50,000.00 Such policy shall bear an endorsement of the insurer to the effect that the same cannot and wi11 not be cancelled or in any manner terminated without first giving the City Manager at least 15 days' notice of cancellation or termination thereof. Any vehicle of any type which shall be required to be licensed by the terms of this ordinance shall be further required to file with the City C1erk proof that he is insured, for the period of the license applied for, against liability for death, injury or property damage caused by any such vehicle, in the following minimum amounts for each vehicle: Death or injury to one person: $100,000.00 Death or injury to two or moa�e persons in the same accident: $300,000.00 _ � Property damage per accident: $ 50,000.00 Such policy sha11 bear an endorsement of the insurer to the effect that the same cannot and will not be cancelled or in any manner terminated without first giving the City Manager at least 15 days' notice of cancellation or termination thereof.
