ORDINANCE NO. 404
AN ORDINANCE UNDER SECTION 12.07 OF THE CITY CH,ARTER
TO VACATE STREETS AND ALLEYS AND TO AMEND APPENDZX
C OF THE CITY CODE
The Council o£ the City o£ Fridley do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. For the vacation of the street described as follows:
All that part of 56th Avenue lying between the
southerly extension of the east and west lines
of Block 1, Hamilton's Addition to Mechanics-
vi11e.
All lying in the South Half (Sz) of Section 23,
T-30, R-24, City o£ Fridley, County of Anoka,
State o£ Minnesota,
be and is hereby vacated, except that the City
of Fridley retains easements over''the north 20
feet of the south 30 feet thereof together with
a 12 foot strip of land that is the southerly
extension ot the 12 foot alley in said Block 1.
SECTION 2. The said vacation has been made in conformance -
with Minnesota Statutes and pursuant to Section
12.07 of the City Charter and Appendix C of •
City Code shall be so amended.
