AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 46.5 OF THE CITY CODE
FOR THS PURPOSE OF PERMITTING NEOPRENE GASKETS ON
SANITARY SEWER LINES
The City Council of the City of Fridley do ordain as follaas:
SECTION 1. Section 46.5 of the Fridley City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
46.5 �he following codes of the City of Minneapolis ELBCTRICAL
as found in the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, dated HEATING AND
July 1, 1960 and as amended to date, are hereby PLUMBING
adopted hy reference:
Slectrical Code being Chapters 140 to 146,
inclusive.
Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Code
being Chapters 100 to 119, inclusive.
Plumbing and Gas Piping Installation Code, being
' Chapters 130 to 133, inclusinve, ExcePt that
� Section 132 480 of the Minneapolis Code be amended to permit
, the use of neoprene craskets to be used on cast iron pipes.
Said exception to pertain to hori2ontal lines only. ?'�

Except that Section 113.770 (2) of said adopted
code be amended under Class B Vent flues to pro-
vide for a venting capactity of at least 75,000 B.T.U, instead
of the 50,000 presently provided. (Ref. 297)
