ORDINANCE NO. 488
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE
OWNED BY THE CITY
TAE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRSDLEY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
The City of Fridley is the fee owner o£ the tract of land within the
City of Fridley, Anoka County, State of Minnesota described as follows:
All that part of Lots 16 and 17, Auditor's Subdivision No. 88, or the
part of the Southwest Quarter (SW'a) of Section 13, Township 30,
Range 24, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Seginning at the intersection of the Southeasterly right-of-way line
of State Highway No. 65 and the South line of said Southwest Quarter
(SW�a) of Section 13; thence East along the South line of said South-
west Quarter (SW'�) for a distance o£ 232 feet to a point, said p,gint
being 1,294.80 feet, more or less, West of Soufh Quarter (S'a) corner
of said Section 13; thence Noxth at right angles to the last described
line for a distance of 285.54 feet; thence Northwesterly with a def-
lection angle to the left of 78°54'09" for a distance of 163.61 feet,
more or less, to the said Southeasterly right-of-way line; thence
Southwesterly along said Southeasterly right-of-way line; thence
Southwesterly along said Southeasterly right-of-way to the point
o£ beginning. Subject to a 30 foot wide easement for road purposes
along the Northwesterly side, except part for highway.
Plat 54161, Parcel 1820, Anoka County, City of Eridley, Minnesota
SECTION IS.
It is hereby determined by the Council that the City no longer has any
reason to continue to own 5aid property and the Council is hereby authorized
to sell or enter into a contract to sell said property.
SECTION
The mayor and city clerk are hereby authorized to sign the necessary con-
tracts and deeds to affect the sale of the above described real estate.
