ORDINANCE NO. 504
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CFiAPTER 25.02 OF THE FRIDLEY CITY CODE, ,
DISPOSAL OF LOST AND STOLEN PROPERTY
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
25.02. The Chief of Police shall hold a public sale of all lost
articles turned in to the Fridley Police Department and stolen
articles recovered .by the Fridley Police Department which aze
not claimed or returned to their rightful owner. Said sales
shall be held as authorized by the City Manager and will be
held at least annually, and all such propezty that has remained
unclaimed for a period of ninety (90) days immediately preceding
the sale shall be sold at said public auction. The proceeds
from said sale shall be deposited with the treasurer o£ the
Fridley Police Pension Fund and become a part of said fund.
Notice of said public auction shall be given in a legal news-
paper at least ten (10) days prior to said sale.
