ORDINANCE N0. 576
AN ORDINANCE UNDER SECTION 12.07 OF THE CITY CHARTER TO VACATE STREETS
AND ALLEYS AND TO AMEND APPENDIX C OF THE CITY CODE
The Council of the City of Fridley do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. For the vacation of a portion of a utility easement described
as follows:
All that portion of an irregular strip of land lying within
a 15 foot utility easement at the rear of Lot 12, Block 5, Rice
Creek Plaza Addition, lying South of the North line of said Lot 12
and adjoining the Westerly line of said 15 foot utility easement
described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said
Lot 12; thence West along the North line of said Lot 12 a distance
of 11.50 feet; thence South and parallel with the West line of said
Lot 12 a distance of 8.40 feet to the point of beginning; thence
continui_ng along said parallel line a distance of 24.70 feet; thence
West and parallel.with the North line of said Lot 12 to the Westerly
line of said 15 foot utility easement; thence Northeasterly along
the Westerly line of said 15 foot utility easement to a point 8.40
feet South of the North line of said Lot 12, thence East and parallel
with the North line of said Lot 12 to the point of beginning.
All lying in the North Half of Section 12, T-30, R-24, City of
Fridley, County of Anoka, Minnesota,
be and is hereby vacated.
' SECTION 2. The said vacation has been made in conformance with Minnesota
Statutes and pursuant to 5ection 12.07 of the City Charter and
Appendix C of the City code shall be so amended.
