ORDINANCE N0. 586 1975
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 508 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
RELATING TO PARKS AND PARKWAYS.
The City Council of the City of Fridley does ordain as follows:
SECION 1, Section 508.21 Clcoholic Beverage, is amended to
read as follows:
508.21 Alcoholic Beverage
It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession or to
consume any intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicatinq malt liquor in`�or
upon any City park, parkway or bathing beach except as provided in
subdivisions 1, 2 and 3 elow:
Subd. 1. Not withstanding laws to the contrary, possession and consumption
of nonintoxicating malt liquor is permitted in Locke Park.
Subd. 2 The City Council may grant permission to consume nonintoxicating
malt liquor in ot er Ci�_parks to neighborhood groups_._
