NN ORDIIVANCE ANIEN�SfvG SECTION 123.03 OF THE CITY CGDE
RELATING TO JUNK VEHICLES ENTITLED "PARKING AN� STORAGE
OF JUNK CARS AND VEHICLES ON PRIUATE PROPERTY"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY DOES OR�AIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 123.03 "Parking and Storage of Junk Cars and Vehicles on Private
Property" is hereby amended to read as follows:
No person in charge or control of any property within the City, whether as
owner, tenant, occupant, lessee or otherwise, shall allow any partially
d�smantled nonoperat�ng wrecked, junked or discarded vehicle to remain on
such property longer than ten (10) days after notiftcat�on 6y the City of a
vtolation of this ordtnance, and no person shall leave any such vehicle on
any property wtthin the City for a longer time than ten (10) days after
notification by the C�ty of a violat�on of thts ordtnance; except that this
ordinance shall not apply with regard to a veh�cle in an enclosed building,
or a vehicle on the premises of a business enterprise operated �n a lawful
place and manner, when necessary to the operation of such bustness
enterprtse; or a vehicle in an appropriate storage place or depository
maintatned tn a lawful place and manner by the Ctty; or a single inoperable
vehicle which is �n the reasonable process of restoration to an operable
vehicle prov�ded it has current registration and does not constitute a
nuisance.
