D. K. MOATENSON, being duly aworn, on oath says he is and during all times here state
vice president and general manager of the newspaper know as The Columbia Heights-St
and has full knowledge of the tacts herein stated as foliows: (1) Said newspaper is printed
language in newspaper format and in column and aheet form equivalent in printed space
square inches. (2) Said newapaper ia weekly and is distributed at least once every v
newspaper has 50qo of ita news columns devoted to news of local interest to the comm
purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirety oi '
patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the
municipalities which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying
subacribers, has an average of at least 75%a of its total circulation paid or no more than three months in
arrears and has entry as second-ciass matter in its local post-office (5) Said newpaper purports to serve
the City of Columbia Heights and Hilltop in Anoka County, and St. Anthony in Hennepin and Ramsey
counties, and it has ita known office of issue in the City of Fridley in Anoka County, estabtished and open
during its regular businesa hours for the gathering of newa, sales of advertisements and sale of
subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer of said newspaper or persons in its employ and
subject to his direstion aad control during all such regular businesa hours and devoted exclusively during
such regular business hours to the businesa of the newspaper and business related thereto. (e) Said
newspaper filea a copy of each isaue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper
ia made available at single or subscription prlces to any peraon, corporation, partnership or other
unincorporated association requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment. (8) Said
newspaper has complted with all foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of
publication mentioned below. (9) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior
to January 1, 1888 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of
State and signed by the managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating
that the newspaper is a legal newapaper.
