AN El�'StGENCY ORDINANCE FOR EXPENDING FUNDS TO PURCHASE
BEIIt AND INSTAI�L BEER OOOLIIZS
The City Council of the City of Fridley does orc?ain as foll aas:
5ECPION 1. That the City Council of the City of Fridey finds tkiat it is
necessary to expend funds for emergency purchase and replacement
of certain beer coolers to be lcacated in the new lic�uor store;
that the Finance Director and City Auditor concur that Lailure to
make such a purchase could have negative financial effects on the
City and that failure to �urchase sucki itens in a tinely fashion
could effect the public welfare; that accordingly an emergency
exists within the provision of 3.06 of the City Charter.
SECTION 2. That it is deened necessary, therefore, that the City contract and
purchase such ttecessary labor and material and enter lnto such
contract or contracts as may be r�ecessary without acaVertising ior
bids for the emergency purchase and install�tion of beer coolers
and fixtures for the City of Fridley G7arehouse Lzcjuor SLOre; an�+
that the swn shall not exceed Sixty-t�ic Thousand and no hundredths
($62,0OO.OD) Dollars.
