126.01. STATII�NT OF PURPOSE

City of Fridley for purposes of conducting prostitution or
prostitution related activites constitutes a Lhreat to trie public
health, safety ana welfare, The City of Frid]ey laas an �roterest in
insuring the lawful use of property within the community and ira
protecting its citizens from uses of property t�t?ich endanger public
health, safety and welfare. The City Council of tYae City af Fricley
de�ns it necessaxy and appropriate io enact procedures to prevent
and elimi.n�te tlxe use of builoings and niovea6le property witY�in the
City of Fridley for purposes of conducting prostitution or
prostitutaon related activities.
126.03. ACi'S

1, Any buildiny or �ortion thereof �nd any moveable property used
'or maintained �or the purpose cf cornmitting acts of prostLtution or.
prostitution related offenses shall �nstitute reasonable cause that
a �ublic nmsance exists.
2. A rebuttable �resumption as to trie existence of a public
nuisance shall exist upon proof of three (3) ox more misaerneanor
convictions or two (2) or more gross misdemeanors or felony
convictions within the previous two (2) years for acts of
prostitution or �rostitution relatect offenses arising out of conciuct
committed within or upon such building or porticn thereof,
3. Atty building or portion thereof and all mov�ble pro�rty used in
conducting or maintaimng a public nuisance shall be en�cined and
abated a� provided for in Sections 126.04 throu�kr 126.07.
