7he vehicle used shall carxy such signal.ling or wGLTiir�g devices as witl enable
the attenciant reasonably at a11 times to give adequ�te warnings as rec,uired
herein. Except as permitted by Section 16.05.5, no vehicle or eauignent skiall
operate any device that shall produce any noise or sounc� f or the pur�ses oi
attracting persons to the venca�.ng truck. (Ref. 243)
5, Exception for Food/Ee�rerage Vehicles.
Not withstancitng any other prwision to the cantraty, food/beverage vehicles
may souncl a marually operated bell, between tYre hour� oi 10:00 a.m. and 4:30
p.m., and 6:00 p,m. to 8:00 p.m, in any area zoned cnnunercial or industrr�S,
and only between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and 6:3Q p.m. to �:(�0
� p.m. in.any area zoned residential or other than commercial or industri�l,
which produces a noise level measured at a distance of 50 feet frcxn the souxce
no greater than 65 decibels, as defined in Fndley City Coue Chapter 124,
"Noise"
