AN ORDINANCE REQODIFYING THE FRIDLEY CITY CADE BY Ar�IDING
CHAPTER 512, ENTITLED "MOTOR VEHICLE REGULATIONS ON
PUBLIC� SEMI-PUBLIC� AND PRIVATE PROPERTY", BY ADDING
SECTION 512.07. AND RENUMBERING THE CIIRRENT 512.07. TO
512.08.
The City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby ordain as follows:
512.07. I7NREASONABLE AC(�LERATION
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or permit to bE cperated any
motoz vehicle on any public street ox highway, x:ublic or semi-public pxoperty
in a n�vv�er that creates or causes unreasonable acceleraticn. Prima £acie
evidence of such unreasonable acceleration shall be squealing or screeching
sounds emitted by the tires s�inning or sliding upon the acceleration of said
vehicle, or causes the vehicle to unnecessarily turn abruptly or sway rrom
side to side.
512.08. PEI�LTIES
Any person who violates the provisions of this Chax,ter shall, upon cor�viction
thereof, be guilty of a misdemeanor anc3 sub�ect ta all �nalties provicled for
uuch violation under the provisions of Chapter 9D1 oi this code.
