AN ORDINANCE RECODIFYING THE FRIDLEY CITY CODE, CHAPTER 3, ENTITLED
"PERSONNEL" BY ADDING SECTION 3.12, EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION
The City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, does hereby ordain as
follows:
3.12 Employee Appreciation
The City Manager shall have the power to authorize the expenditure of funds for Employee
Appreciation. These funds shall be expended for an appreciation dinner and for the purchase of
lapel pins, plaques, and certificates recognizing service to the City. The expenditure shall be
compensation for services and shall not be considered as a gift.
