The City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby o�lain as follows:

The mode of namuzation of all elective officers provided for by this Charter
shall be by petition. The name of any eligible voter of the City shall be
printed upon the ballot whenever a petition as hereinafter prescribecl shall have
heen filed in that peisons' bPlialf with the City Clerk. Such petition shall be
signed by at least ten (10) registered voters qualified to vote for the office
in question. No elector shall sign petitions for more candidates than the
n�r of offices to ]�e filled at the election. Should such a case occur, the
signature shall be void as to the petition or petitions last filecl. All
nomuiation petitions shall be filed with the City Clerk in accoxrlance with
Minnesota State Statutes. Each petition, when pre.sented, must be accompanie�l
by a five dollar ($5.00) filing fee.
