OUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE
QUEST THE FRIDLEY CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORI7E
NTER CITY REDEUELOPMENT TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redeyelopment Authority is the implementing Rgency
for the Center City Redevelop ent Tax Increment D�str�ct; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Rede�elopment Author�ty and the City of Fridley have
entered into a �oint cooperat�on agreement, and
WHEREAS, this agreement allows the Hous mg and Redevelopment Authority to
request the City Council to a�thorize the sale of General Obliqat�on Bonds to
cover pro,7ect costs of the Redevelopment district; and
IJHEREAS, the Housing and Rede�yelopment Authority has concluded that bond
sales based on Attachment A of this document would be in the best interest of
the City for development of t�he Center City Redevelopment Pro,7ect.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLUED by the Houstng and Redevelopment Author�ty of
the Ctty of Frtdley that it �s necessary and expedient that the Fridley City
Council authorize the sale oflGeneral Obligation Bonds tn the amount up to
� 2.2 million dollars for pro,7ect costs related to the Center City
Redevelopment Tax Increment Djstrict. Sur.h bond sales shall take place
before January 15, 1981. I
