A RESOLUTION APPRWING '14iE FINAL PLAZA PLAN FOR PHASE II
OF THE CEN',�ER CITY DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZING THE
DEVIIAPMENT OF CONSPRUGTION PI,ANS
WIIEREAS, the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority is the
responsible Agency for implenentation of the Center City Redevelopment
District; and
WHIItE,AS, as part of the contract doc�nnents with the Fridley Plaza Office
Building Partnership, the HRA has committed to the development of a plaza
located south of the Fridley Civic Center for the overall enhancement of
the total Phase II Development; and
WHEREAS, the design of this plaza is being done by Interdesign, Inc. who
was selected by the HRA through a design competition within guidelines set
by the HRA; and
WfIII2EAS, Interdesign within the quldelines of their contract with the HRA
has submitted preliminary and final plaza designs for approval by the HRA.

That the final plaza plan is approved for the development of final
oonstruction plans.
That the staff is authorized to enter into contract with Interdesign
for the completion of those construction plans.
That the construction of the plaza does not exceed 5300,000,
including contingencies, as per final plan approval.
