A RESOLUTION REDESIGNATING CENTER CITY REDEVEL°
OPMENT AREA AS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO, 1 AND
MODIFYING BY ENLARGEMENT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT N0.
1 AND THE REDEVELOPMENT PT,AN RELATING THERETO PUR-
SUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF MINNESOTA STATUTES,
SECTIONS 462.411 TO 462.716, INCLUSIVE, AS AMENDE➢,
AND REDESIGNATING CENTER CITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA AS
TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 1; MOORE LAKE REDEVELOP-
MENT AREA AS TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 2; AND
NORTH AREA REDEVELOPMENT AREA AS TAX INCREMENT
DISTRICT NO. 3 ALL LOCATED WITHIN REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT NO. 1.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Cammissioners (the "Cammission-
ers") of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (the "Au-
thority") in and for the City of Fridley, Minnesota (the
"City"), as follows:
Section Z. Recitals.
' 1.01. it has been ptoposed that the Authority redesig-
nate Center City Redevelopment Area as Redevelopment Project
No. 1(the "Redevelopment Project") and modify by enlarge-
ment Redevelopment Project No. 1 and the Redevelopment Platt
(the "Redevelopment Plan") relating thereto pursuant to and
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 462.411 to
462.716, inclusive, as amended, and redesignate Center City
Redevelopment Area aj Tax Increment District No. 1; Moore
Lake Redevelopment Area as Tax Increment District No. 2; and
North Area Redevelopment Area as Tax Increment District No.
3 all located within Rede��elopment Project Na. 1.
1.02. This Authority has caused to be prepared, and has
investigated the facts with respect thereto, a proposed
modification by enlargement of the Redevelopment Plan for
the Redevelopment Project, defining more precisely the prop-
erty to be added to the Redevelopment Project.
1.03. The Authority has performed all actions reqvired
by law to be performed prior to the redesignation and modi-
fication of the Redevelopment Project and Redevelopment Plan
relating thereto, and the redesignation of the Center City
Redevelopment Area, Moore Lake Redevelopment Area and North
Area Redevelopment Area within the Redevelopment Pro�ect,
including, but not limited to, notification of Anoka County
� and Independent School Districts Nos. 11, 13, 14 and 15
which have taxing jurisdiction over the property proposed to
be added to the Redevelopment Project and a request for the
written opinion of the City's Planning Commission relating
to the proposed modification to the Redevelopment Project
and the Redevelopment Plan relating thereto.
1.04. The Authority hereby determines that it is neces-
sary and in the best interest of the City at this time to
redesignate Center City Redevelopment Area as Redevelopment
Project No. 1 and modify by enlargement Redevelopment
Pro7ect No. 1 and the Redevelopment Plan relating thereto
and to redesignate Center City Redevelopment Area as Tax
Increment District No. 1; Moore Lake Redevelopment Area as
Tax Increment District No. 2; and North Area Redevelopment
Area as Tax Increment District No. 3 and to request that the
City Council (the "Coancil") of the City hold a public
hearing relating to the above-stated matters.
Section 2. Redesiqnation and Modification of Redevelop-
ment Project. �
2.01. Subject to the finding, determination, and ap-
proval of the redesignation of Center City Redevelopment
� Area as Redevelopment Pro�ect No. 1 and the modification of
Redevelopment Project No. 1 by the Council of the City,
Center City Redevelopment Area is hereby redesignated,
numbered and modified in and for the City. The property ad-
ded to Redevelopment Project No. 1 shall be the property
described in the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment
Project No. 1 approved in Section 4 hereof.
Section 3. Redesiqnation of Tax Increment Dis
3.01. Sub7ect to the finding, determination, and ap-
proval of the redesignation of Center City Redevelopment
Area as Tax Increment District No. 1; Moore Lake Redevelop-
ment Area as Tax Increment District No. 2; and North Area
Redevelopment Area as Tax Increment District No. 3 by the
Council, Center City Redevelopment Area, Moore Lake
Redevelopment Area and North Area Redevelopment Area within
Redevelopment Project No. 1 are hereby redesignated �n and
for the City.
Section 4. Modification of Redevelopment Plan.
4.01. The Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopmen± Project
No. 1 presented to the Authority on this date, is hereby
� approved and adopted by the Authority and shall be forwarded
to the Council with the request that the Council hold a
public hearing relating to the redesignation and modifica-
tion of the Redevelopment Project and Redevelopment Plan

� relating thereto and the redesignation of the Tax Increment
Districts within the Redevelopment Project, and that the
Modified Redevelopment Plan shall be placed on file in the
office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
Section 5. Filing of Redevelopment Plan.
5.01. The Authority shall cause the modified Redevelop-
ment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 1(Center City Rede-
velopment Area) including Tax Increment Financing Plans for
Tax Increment District No, 1(Center City), Tax Increment
District No. 2(Moore Lake) and Tax Increment District No. 3
(North Area) to be filed with the Minnesota Department of
Energy and Economic Development.
