RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FRIDLEY TO CALL FOR A PIlBLIC HEARING ON THE
REDESIGNATION OF CENTER CITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA AS
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT N0. 1 AND MODIFICATION BY
ENLARGEMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT N0. 1 AND THE
MODIFICATION �F THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN RELATING
THERETO AND THE REDESIGNATION OF CENTER CITY REDE-
VELOPMENT AREA AS TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO, 1;
MOORE LAKE REDEVELOPMENT AREA AS TAX INCREMENT
DISTRICT NO. 2; AND NORTA AREA REDEVELOPMENT AREA
AS TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 3 WITHIN REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT ND. 1.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority"} in and for the
City of Fridley, Minnesota (the "City"}, as follows:
� l. The Authority proposes to redesignate Center City
Redevelopment Area as Redevelopment Project No. 1(the "Re-
development Project") and to modify by enlargement Redevel-
opment Project No. 1 and modify the Redevelopment Plan re-
lating thereto pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes, §462.411 to §462.716, inclusive, as amended and
further to redesignate Center City Redevelopment Area as Tax
Incremnt District No. 1; Moore Lake Redevelopment Area as
Tax Increment District No. 2; and North Area Redevelopment
Area as Tax Increment District No. 3 within Redevelopment
Project No, l.
2. The Authority hereby requests the City Council of
the City to ca11 for a public hearing to consider the re-
designation and modification of the Redevelopment Project
and the Redevelopment Plan relating thereto and to pass by
resolution the redesignation of Center City Redevelopment
Area as Tax Increment District No. 1; Moore Lake Rede-
velopment Area as Tax Increment District No. 2; and North
Area Redevelopment Area as Tax Increment District No. 3 and
to cause notice of said public hearing to be given as
required by law.
3. The Authority further requests that the Counczl
� direct the Planning Commission of the City to submit its
written opinion relating to the modification of the Rede-

velopment Project and to consider and comment on whether the
Modified Redevelopment Plan is in accordance with the Com-
pr2hensive Plan of the City, prior to the public hearing to
be called by the City Council.
4. The Executive Director of the Authority is hereby
directed to submit a copy of the Modified Redevelopment Plan
for Redevelopment Project No. 1 to the City Council for its
approval.
