A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION
AGREEMENT (NO. 81795) BY AND BETWEEN THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY 1N AND FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA, AND THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners (the "Commissioners") of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Fridley, Minnesota (the "Authority"), as follows:
Section 1. Recitals.
1.01. The Authority, at its regular meeting on February 3, 2000, approved financial participation in
sound wall improvements for Trunk Highway 47 from 44t'` Avenue Northeast to 625 feet north of
53rd Avenue Northeast under State Project No. 0205-75 (collectively known as "the Project").
1.02. It has been proposed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (the "MnDOT") that
the Authority execute Cooperative Construction Agreement No. 81795 (the "Agreement") which
covers the Authority's participation in the Project.
1.03. The Agreement provides for a lump sum payment by the Authority to the MnDOT for the
Authority's share of the costs of the decorative noise wall trim construction related to the Project.
Section 2. Findin�s.
2.01. The Authority hereby finds that the Project is in the best interests of the City of Fridley and
authorizes the Chairperson and Executive Director of the Authority to enter into Cooperative
Construction Agreement No, 81795 with MnDOT.
