EXCERPTS FROM COUNCIL MCNUTES OF DECEIER 6. 1965 MEETING C FOR ROAD: — "Mayor Nee stated that he believes the Council should try to help this property owner resolve the problem. He stated that there is an existing building upon this property, and the property awner may wish to split the remainder of this property into two additional lots. The City Engineer stated that the lot split would result in small lots for comnercial .' buildings, and that the property owner would probably need a waiver of ' the front yard setback requirement. The City Engineer $tated further :' that the existing building of the property owner is only .two feet from the street right-of-way. Mayor Nee noted that an easement existed or was shawn upon the back of this lot and asked whether the City or the neighboring property owners want this easemex}t... Councilman Sheri, dan, stated that the minutes note that Mr. Nygard has obtained a QuitCT'sim' Deed for this.part of the easement fram Mr. Larson, the neighboring property owner. Mayor Nee asked whether it would be unreasonable to send the requst back to the Planning Caamission and ask them to consider a lot split such that one of thelots would be 100'x132', t e total property to be split into only two lots.
