He suggested the Planning Commniasion take a good look at the GO foot plaat- ing strip �d coneider planting some evergreen trees so that it would make a more desirable buffer and attract a developer. Mr. Harrie said that if the planting strip is deeded to the City, who i.e r�sponaible for the trash and litter that has accumnlated there? He wondered i£ thia would be a good place to dump street sweepinga as the land 1s pretty low. Mr. Miniah mentioned that trees produce more oxygen, and woadered if the evergreea tree produced as much oxygen as the deciduous trees, and also if they did in the winter.
