PROC SOE 10/24/2005 - 00013509PROCLAMATION DECLARING THE TERMINATION OF THE STATE OF EMERGENCY IN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, on or about September 21, 2005, a high-wind storm event occurred that uprooted and destroyed hundreds of trees and damaged structures and utilities throughout the City of Fridley; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 12.29, on September 22, 2005, by Resolution No. 2005-45, the Mayor of the City of Fridley declared that a State of Emergency existed in the City of Fridley within the meaning of applicable Minnesota and Federal law; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 12.29, the City Council of the City of Fridley adopted Ordinance No. 1207 on September 26, 2005, declaring the existence of a State of Emergency within the City; and WHEREAS, said State of Emergency remained in effect until such time as the Mayor by published declaration indicated that it had been terminated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Scott J. Lund, Mayor of the City of Fridley, do hereby proclaim that the State of Emergency declared in the City of Fridley is hereby terminated.
