RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT DEDICATION
OF LAND FOR STREET PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner Drew Scherer has offered
to the City of Fridley a dedication for street purposes a
strip of land not to exceed ten (10) feet of the Westerly
side of Lots 20 and 21, Block 4, of Florence Park conditioned
upon the dedication, for street purposes of a similar strip of
land by the owner of Lots 22 to 30, inclusive, of said Block,
and
WHEREAS, Jerome Polkey, -the owner of Lots
22 to 30, inclusive, in Block 4 in Florence Park has offered
to the City of Fridley for the purpose of dedication of the
same to street purposes a strip of land not in excess of ten
- (10) feet wide off the Westerly side of Lots 22 to 30, inclu-
sive, of Block 4 in Florence Park upon the same condition as
that wherein above noted with respect to the offer. of Drew
Scherer,
NOW, THEREFORE ", BE IT RESOLVED, -As follows:
-1. That the Council deems it in the best
interest of the City to accept said
strip of land for street purposes.
2. That the City act by and through its
lawful representatives shall act together
with the owner of the land wherein and
above noted in the preparation of any
and all instruments to the proper
dedication of said strip of land for
street purposes.
3. It is understood that should the City
fail to acquire said strip of land and
appropriate said land to street purposes
then the dedication and offer made by the
_ said Drew Scherer and said Jerome Polkey
shall be null and void.
