RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS„
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF THE,
COSTS THEREOF: ( FOR SEWER, WATER, STORM
DRAINAGE AND STREET SURFACING IN EDGEWATER
GARDENS AND IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT AREAS
INCLUDING ASHTON AVENUE AND 64TH AVENUE
SOUTH OF MISSISSIPPI WAY. )
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Fridley, as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and
the property owners affected that there be con -
structed certain improvements, to wit:
a. Water main laterals and service connections in
the following streets and areas:
1. All of the streets andarea included in the
plat of Edgewater Gardens.
2. The lands abutting upon Hickory Street,
Rice Creek Way and Ashton Avenue, North
of Mississippi Way not otherwise included
in one (1) above.
3. Ashton Avenue from 64th Way to Mississippi
Way, Mississippi Way from the East River
Road to the Northern Pacific Railroad right -
of -way, and 64th Way from the East River Road
to the Northern Pacific Railroad right-of-
way.
b. Sanitary sewer in the following streets and areas.
1. The same as 1, 2, and 3 in (a) above.
c. Storm drainage facilities in the following streets
and areas.
1. The same as 1, 2, and 3 in (a) above.
d. Street surfacing include asphaltic curbs in the
following streets and areas.
1. The same as 1, 2 and 3 in (a) above.
That the firm of Comstock and Davis and the Director of
Public Works, City of Fridley, is hereby authorized and directed
to draw preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the
results of his or their estimates of the costs of said improvements,
and to make a preliminary report of his or their findings to the
Council not later than at their earliest convenience.
