RESOLUTION "# 41 - 1959
A RESOLUTION DECLARING M49FGENCY AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN WATER WOWS WORK.
BSS IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows:
SECTION 1. That by reason of the heavy demand for water by the
residents of the City, it is found that the municipal
well of the City is unable to meet the demand, and
for purposes of safety there is need of an emergency
connection for water from another source of supply.
SECTION 2. That an agreement for the supply of water on an emer-
gency basis having been obtained from the City of
Minneapolis, there is hereby declared an emergency
by the Council of the City, and construction of
the connection to the mains of the City of Minneapolis
is authorized to be performed; the same to be accom-
plished immediately (and without bids therefore) by
the City of Fridley on a day labor basis.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 9th DAY OF JUNE, 1959.
