RES 1959-44 - 00013021RESOLUTION NO. 44 - 1959 A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVE - MENTS: (RIVERVIEW HEIGHTS & ADJACENT AREA, GLEN CREEK ROAD & LOGAN PARKWAY, EDGEWATER GARDENS AREA, 53RD AVENUE NE FROM JOHNSON STREET TO PIERCE STREET, HICKORY DRIVE FROM 70TH WAY TO EAST RIVER ROAD AND 5TH STREET NE FROM 61ST AVENUE TO 63RD AVENUE NE.) WHEREAS, THE CONSTRUCTION of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That this Council will meet on the 30th day of June, 1959, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvements noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference Exhibit "A ". 2. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice; all of the same to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received. 3. That the City Manager is authorized and dir- ected to give notice of such public hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", each of the improve - ments to be treated separately as the Council shall otherwise hereinafter designate. Brunsell RESOLUTION No. 44 -1959 EXHIBIT "A" NOTICE OF HEARING CITY OF FRIDLEY NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County Minnesota has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements hereinafter described be made. NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 30th day of June 1959, at 7:30 onclock P.M., the City Council will most at the City Hall ' in said City, and will, at said time, and place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. Subdivision Number 77; and Mississippi View, Block 1 and 2. FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEMS C -2 and D -2 ABOVE--- - All of the lands abutting upon said street. FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEMS C -3 AND D -3 ABOVE--- - All of the land bounded by the Mississippi River on the west; Locke Lake and Rice Creek on the North; the Nor- thern Pacific Railroad right of way on the East; and 6312 Way on the South. FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEMS C -5 AND D -5 ABOVE--- - All of the land abutting upon said street. All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improve- ments. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements as separate improvements, except,as hereafter other- wise provided by the Council, all under the following, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof and in conformity with the City Charter.
