RES 1959-54 - 00013052RESOLUTION NO. 54 - 1959 A RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY TO EXCHANGE CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITH SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 14. BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council, City Of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: THAT, it is found in the interest of the City and public that the City exchange certain lands with Fridley School District Number 14, and that As a part of said exchange, it is to be provided that the City shall acquire ownership of Block 4, 5 and 6 in Vineland Addition and that the City release and transfer to School District Number 14, Block 2 and 3 of Moore Lake Addition; It being understood that the City desires to obtain a strip of land along the west side of Moore Lake to use for Park and Public purposes and that the area of the lands received by the City and said School District Number 14 shall be equalized, that the exact dimensions of the land in Block 4, Block 12 and Block 13 in Vineland Addition and the land in Blocks 1, 2, 11 and 12 in Moore Lake Addition shall be adjusted so as to equalize the area of the land transfer. THAT, Comstock & Davis, Consulting Engineers, are authorized and directed to work with Engineers representing the School District in further the finding by survey with specific boundaries as set forth generally above.
