RESOLUTION N0. 55- - 1959 -- --
A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: FOR S & W NO.20
SETTING HEARING DATE FOR AUGUST 27, 1959,
ON PROPOSED SEWER AND WATER FOR CHERI LANE
AND ADJACENT AREAS.
WHEREAS, The construction of certain improve-
ments is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley
and the property owners affected thereby,
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the
City of Fridley as follows:
1. That this Council will meet on the 27th
day of August, 1959, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for
the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the
improvements noted in the Notice attached here-
to and made a part hereof by reference,
Exhibit "A ".
2. That
said

the area proposed to be assessed for
improvements and each of them as noted
notice are all the lands and areas as
said notice: all of the same to be
proportionately according to the
received.
3. That the City Manager is authorized and
directed to give notice of such public
hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the
official newspaper of the City of Fridley
according to law, such notice to be substantially
in the form and substance of the notice attached
hereto as Exhibit "A ", each of the improvements
to be treated separately as the Council shall
otherwise hereinafter designate.

CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 27th day of
August, 1959, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Ccuncil will meet at the City
Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties intere-
sted in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction ( in the
lands and streets noted below ) of the following improvements, to wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
A. Sanitary Sewer laterals and Service Connections located in all of
the streets and serving all of the area described as follows:
1. 7th Street from 54th Avenue to T.H. No. 100
2. Cheri Lane from 7th Street to Monroe Street.
3. Madison Street from Cheri Lane to 54th Street.
4. The on -named street lying south of Cheri Lane between 7th St.
and Madison Street as shown on the approved plat of Lyndale
Builders 4th Addition.
5. 54th Avenue from 7th Street to Madison Street.
ESTIMATED COST .............. ..............................t 18,227.50
B. Water Mains and Service Connections in the following lands and
along the following streets:
Same area as Item A, Subdivision 1 -5 above.
ESTIMATED COST ............... ..............................$ 10024.25
THAT THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS* ............. $ 282551.75
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( A.ND EACH OF THEM )
IS AS FOLLOWS — FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A, — AND CONSTRUCTION IT31 B, ABOVE __
All of the lands abutting upon said streets. , All of said lands to be
assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed ,d th each of said improvements as sep�4-
rate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the Council, all
under the following authority, to wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and
laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the City Charter.
