A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVAL OF PLANS AND ORDERING ADVER- TISING FOR BIDS ( SEWER AND WATER, STORM DRAINAGE AND IMPROVEMENTS AS NOTED IN NOTICES OF HEARING DATED JUNE 30, AND JULY 231 1959. WHEREAS, the resolution of the City Council =- adopted the 30th day of June, 1959, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the notice of hearing attached ,hereto for reference as Exhibit "A" and _ WHEREAS, the resolution of the City Council adopted this 23rd day of July, 1959, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as specifically'noted in the notice of hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "B ", and WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notices) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publica- tions of the required notices, and the hearings were held and the property owners heard thereon at th hearings, as noted in said notices. NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by council resolution are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as resonably possible, to wit: a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ") in said notice, except Construction Items A and B. b. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "B ") in said notice, except - - - none. That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall be consolidated as one improvement and shall hereafter be designated as Sewer, Water and Storm Sewer Improvement Project Number 22. 2. The plans and specifications prepared by Comstock & Davis, Consulting Engineers, for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the council resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and specifications are hereto attached and made a part hereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. i i 1 RESOLUTION NO. 57 - 1959 Continued 3. The work to be performed under Sewer, Water and Storm Sewer Improvement Project Number 22 shall be performed under one contract. , The City Manager shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for twenty - one (21) days, and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be opened and considered at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 27th day of August, 19590 in the council chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk, and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five per cent,(5 %) of the amount of such bid. That the advertisement for bids for Sewer, Water and Storm Sewer Improvement Project Number 22, shall be in substance as that in Exhibit "B" attached hereto for reference and made a part hereof.
