RES 1959-60 - 00013070RESOLUTION NO. 60 - 1959 A RESOLUTION DECLARING NECESSITY IN CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF EXCEEDING THE 30 MILL LIMITATION PROVIDED IN THE CITY CHARTER FOR 1960 GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,, as follows: 1. That it appears necessary for the City to levy a tax to be collected in the year 1960 in an amount in excess of the 30 mill limitation provided in the City Charter, in order to provide sufficient monies for the following purposes or funds: a. General Fund b. Bonds and Interest c. Firemen's Relief d. Public Employees Pension For the purposes of such additional levy, the Council shall meet on the 20th day of August, 1959, and hold a Public Hearing with respect to such proposed additional levy. That all persons interested therein may appear and be heard thereon. That notice of such hearing shall be published for a period of three (3) weeks in the official newspaper of the City.
