A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improve-
ments is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley
and the property owners affected thereby,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Fridley as follows:
1. That this Council will meet on the 27th
day of August, 1959, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the
purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the
improvements as noted in the Notice attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference,
Exhibit "A ".
2. That the and a proposed to be assessed for
said improvements and each of them as noted
in said notice are all the lands and areas as
noted in said notice: all of the same to be
assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received.
3. That the City Manager is authorized and
directed to give notice of such public
hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the
official newspaper of the City of Fridley
according to law, such notice to be substantially
in the form and substance of the notice attached
hereto as Exhibit "A ", each of the improvements
to be treated separately or as the Council shall
otherwise hereinafter designate.

EXHIBIT "A"
OFFICIAL NOTICE CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON THE 27th day of
August, 1959, at 7:30 olc'__ock P.M. the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all
parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction in
the lands and streets noted below of the following:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES SERVING THE FOLLOWING AREAS
1. Lot 1 through 7, inclusive, Auditorts Subdivision No. 153.
2. Outlot "A" - Marion Hills Addition.
THAT THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENT IS Ml 675.00
THE AREA PRDPOSID TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS AS FOLLOWS:
All of the parcels and tracts of land described under construction
Item "A" Subdivisions 1 and 2, above.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to
the benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said imp-
rovements as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise
provided by the Council, all under the following authority, to -wit:
Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof and in
conformity with the City Charter.
