A RESOLUTION RELATII;G TO CLOSING REET TO TRAFFIC
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
Section 1. That the Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City and to the
owners of the pronerties immediately abutting thereon,
and the public generally that the following named
street be closed as a puk is thoroughfare and not be
open and available for use by "Thru- Traffic" until
further order and determination of the Councils to wit:
5th Street N. E., as the same
is laid out between 57th :,venue
N. E. on its South end and 58th
Avenue N. E. on its North end
(access to be to residents only)
FURTHER, that it is desirable and necessary to -the
above that apnronriate barricades and notices be erected
and maintained by the City on each of t}ie ends of said
street? as noted above. That until further order and
direction is made by the Council, including a determination
as to the needs of the City of s.n:id right of way for purposes
of the construction and installation of public utilities, no
action shall be taken with respect to the above named street
to vacate said street; for public purposes.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized and ,
directed to execute this resclut..ion
forthwith.
