RES 1962-06 - 00012300RESOLUTION N0. 6 -1962 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: (WATER AND SEWER PROJECT NO. 55). follows: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements to -wit: a. Sanitary Sewer Mains and Laterals and service connections in all the lands and streets located as follows: (1) Along Fillmore Street N.E. from Skywood Lane to Highway No. 100; Along 53' Court; Along Highway No. 100 from Fillmore Street N.E. west to the east boundary of Auditor's Subdivision No. 94. b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been received and filed with the City'as follows: (1) Petition dated April 1958 including area bounded by Highway No. 100, East City Limits, South City Limits and 7th Street N.E., relating to Item a (1) above. 2. That Comstock and Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, are hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection there- with, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of their findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improve- ments (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. 3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. 4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
