WHEREAS, It is deemed to be in the interest of the City
of Fridley and its inhabitants that said improve-
ments as hereinafter noted be constructed; arid,
WHEREAS, The Council has heretofore received from the
consulting engineers a preliminary report of
the plans and specifications and estimate of
the costs thereof, advising the Council that
said improvements are feasible; and,
WHEREAS, The Council deems the preliminary report ob-
tained to be suitable to its needs for further
action herein,
3E IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of,ridley:
Sec. 1. That there shall be provided, and they are so hereby
ordered, complete plans and specifications and es-
timates of the costs of the following certain improve-
ments, to -wit:
(a) Such wells, stand pipes, storage tanks, reservoirs,
and also all additional appurtenances, including
machinery and equipment incident thereto advisable
and necessary to provide and to furnish �o the City
of Fridley and its inhabitants a full. and complete
source and system of supply of municipal water as
may be obtained from one or more 1unicipal water
wells located in the City of Fridley, together with '
such supply mains advisable and necessary to carry
such water into the distribution system of the City
of . ridley.
Sec. ?. That Comstock & Davis, Inc., the consulting - engineers
of the City of r'ridley are hereby authorized and directed
to prepare the complete plans and specifications, and
to tabulate the result of their estimates of the cost
of said improvements, and to make a final report of
their findings to the Council 1aithin
from this date.
