A RESOLUTION RECEIVING Tf?E PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTFR OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
IM°ROVEMENTS: (STORM Q7,7R - PARKVI]WT CANS ADDITION)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property own-
ers affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as
' follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and
Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received
and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the lath day of October,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City
of Fridley for the purpose of holding a `lublic Hearing
on the improvements noted in the Notice attached hereto
and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
(Exhibit "All - See 'ublication 'Notices under dates of
September 22nd and September 29th, 1960).
3. That the area proposed.to be assessed for said improve-
ments and each of them as noted in said notice are all
the lands and areas as noted in said notice: All of the
same to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give
notice of such %blic Hearing by publishing a notice
thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley
according to law, such notice to be substantially in the
form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhi-
bit "A ".

NOTICE OF HEARING ON 114PROVEMF•NTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 4th day of
October, 1960, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear
all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:

A. STORM SEWER SYSTEM for the Parkview Oaks Addition located in and
serving all of the area described as follows:
1. The area that is within the corporate limits, North of T.H.
No. 100, East of T.H. No. 65, South of Central Avenue, and Gardena
Avenue, and IJest of East Corporate Limits.

THAT THE AREA TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( IN D EACH

All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above and all
the lands located North of T.H. No. 100, East of T.H. No. 65,
South of Central Avenue and Gardena Avenue and West of East
Corporate Limits, and all lands adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such assessments.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements as separate improvements, except as hereafter
otherwise provided by the Council all under the following authority,
to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof,
and in con?ormity with t he City Charter.
