RES 1960-114 - 00012840RESOLUTION NO. 113 - 1960 A RESOLUTION APENDING RESOLUTION 67 -1960 ENTITLED "ESTABLISHING WORKING CONDITIONS, ',,TATE9 AND HOURS FOR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED BY THE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORE" WHEREAS, Minneapolis Local Joint Executive Board of the Hotel Restaurant Employees and Bartenders International Union, A.F.L. - C.I.C., Local Unions No. 152 and 458, as bargaining representatives of the employees of the Municioal Liquor Store of the City of Fridley, has presented to the Council of the City of Fridley, a resolution relating to the working conditions, wages and hours for employees of the Municipal Liquor Store of the City of Fridley, and WHEREAS, Article XII, [Wage Scale of said Resolution 67- 1960 is effective until October 1, 1960, and WHEREAS, it is necessary at this time to establish a wage scale for employees emnloyed by the Municipal Liquor Store for the period October 1, 1960 to,0.ctober 1, 1961. NOW THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of.the City of Fridley, that Article XII of Pesolution 67 -1960 be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows,,to -wit: Effective October 1, 1960, all bartenders regularly sche- duled to work forty (40) hours per week shall receive Eighty - eight and 50 /100 088.50) Dollars per week; all bartenders regu- larly scheduled to work forty -eight (48) hours per week shall receive One Hundred Twelve and 32/100 ($112.32) Dollars per week. All part -time bartenders shall_ receive Two and 214/100 ($2.2125) Dollars per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of four (4) hours. Effective October 1, 1960, all waitresses working forty (40) hours per week shall receive Qne and 222/100 ($1.225) Dollars per hour; all short hour waitresses shall be paid One and 47/100 01.47) Dollars per hour. , ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 20TH DAY OF 9EPTEMBER, -1960. Brunsell RESOLUTION NO. 114 - 1960 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRFT' IMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVIII.ENTS: (STORPI SEWER A�'D SURFACING ON FILL'�OP.F AND BUCHANAN STREETS) WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be ir_ the interest of the City of Fridley and the property own- ers affected thereby. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received and accepted. 2. That this Council will meet on the 4th day of October 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvements noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ". (Exhibit "A" - See Publication Notices under dates of September 22nd and September 29th, 1960). 3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improve- ments and each of them as noted in said notice are all ' the lands and areas as noted in said notice: All of the same to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received. 4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to.give notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhi- bit "A ". Brunsell RESOLUTION NO. 115 - 1960 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVAL OF PLANS, AND ORDERING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS - W&S #41 WHEREAS, the resolution of the City Council adopted the 16th day of August, 1960, set the date for hearing on Lhe proposed im- provements, as specifically noted in the notice of hearing attach- ed hereto for reference as EXHIBIT "A" (Exhibit "A" - See Publica- tion Notices under dates of August 25th and September 1st, 1960), and, WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days nublished notice of the Council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: ' 1. That the following improvements heretofore proposed by Council resolution are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A") in said notice except (none); that the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be designated as: WATER AND SEWER IDiPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 41 -1960. RESOLUTION NO. 114 EXHIBIT "A" Project St. & SS #43 CITY OF'FRIDIEY NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements hereinafter described be made. NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 4th day of Oct- ober, 1960, at 5:00 o'clock P.M., the City youncil will meet at the City hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit: CONSTRUCTION ITEM A. STORM SnrER SYSTEM for the Marian Hills area located in and serving all of the area described as follows: 1. That area South of T.H. No. 100; East of T.H. No. 65; North of South Corporate Limits; and West of T:ast Corporate Limits. ESTIMATED COST ............. ..............................$ 19,510.00 B. STREET SURFACING, including stabilized base, grading, graveling, blacktopping, curb and gutter, serving all of the area described as follows: 1. That property adjacent and abutting thereof on 53rd Avenue N.E. from Fillmore to Johnson; Fillmore to 53rd to 507 feet South; Pierce from 53rd to 507 feet South; Buchanan from 53rd to South Corporate Limits and Lincoln Street from 53rd to Buchanan. ESTIMATED COST ............. ..............................$ 30,395.00 THAT TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENT IS .............$ 50,205.00 THAT THE AREA TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( AND EACH OF THEM) IS AS FOLLUPS: FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A, ABOVE: The area described in Paragraph A, Subdivision 1, above.
