RESOLUTION NO.148 -1960
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WATER AND SEWER - JOHNSON'S RIVER LANE ADDITION.
WHEREAS, Resolution #124 -1960 of the City Council adopted the 4th
day of Cctober, 1960, set the date for he =ring on the proposed im-
provements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto for reference as Exhibit "An, and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice,
and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at
the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #124 -1960 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas
as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Consulting Engineers, are hereby desig-
nated as the Engineer for this improvements. They shall
prepare final plans and specifications for the making of
such improvements.

CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 18th day of
October, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet
at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear
all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements to -wit:

A. Sanitary Sewer Lateral and Service Connections leeated in all
of the streets and serving all of the area described as follows:
1. All those streets lying within the following described lines;
Bordered on the east by the East River Road, on the north by
the east one - quarter corner section line of Section 15, on
the west by lots 25, 13, and 14, and on the South by Lot 15;
the same being located in South one -half (S�) of Section 15,
T -30, R -24, Anoka County, Minnesota.
ESTIMATED COST ... ..............................$ 3,595.00
B. Water Mains and Service Connections in the following lands and
along the following streets.

ESTIMATED COST... ..... .......................... 10,925.00
THAT THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID IMPROVEMENT IS... 14,520.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( AND
EACH OF THEM) IS AS FOLLOWS:
All of the lands abutting all those streets lying within the
following described lines: Bordered on thr east by the East
River Road, on the north by the east one- quarter corner section
line of Section 15, on the west by Lots 25, 13, and 14, and on
the South by Lot 15; the same being located in the South one-
half (Sf) of Section 15, T -301 R -24, Anoka County, Minnesota.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to
the benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided
by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota
Laws 1953, Chapter 398, and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity
with the City Charter.
