A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A
P[?BLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
IMPROVEMENTS: STORM SFWER INTERCEPTOR - NORTH OF RICE CREEK
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of- Fridley and the property own-
ers affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and
Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received
and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 3rd day of May 1960,
at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of
Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing
on the improvements noted in the Notice attached here-
to and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said im-
provements and each of them as noted in said notice
are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice:
all of the same to be assessed proportionately ac-
cording to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
give notice of such public hearing by publishing a
notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City
of Fridley according to law, such notice to be sub-
stantially in the form and substance of the notice
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".

A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELLMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the
property owners affected that there be constructed cer-
tain improvements, to -wit:
a. STREET IMPROVEMENTS, including stabilized base,
grading, graveling, blacktopping, asphalt curb
and gutter, 40 feet wide, Fillmore Street North-
east, southerly from T. H. #100 to 53rd Avenue
and 532 Avenue Northeast between Fillmore and
Johnson Street.

CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THFREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 3rd day of May,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested
in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM:
A. Storm Sewer Interceptor System located in and serving all of the area
described as follows:
1. That portion of the City of Fridley lying north of Rice Creek
south of Osborne Road, east of the Great Northern and Northern
Pacific Railways, and west of the east City limits.
ESTIMATED COST ............. ..............................$ 451,649.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS (AND EACH OF
THFM) IS AS FOLLOWS —
FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A, ABOVE --
All of the lands located in that portion of the City of Fridley, lying
north of Rice Creek, south of Osborne Road, east of the Great Northern
and Northern Pacific Railways, and west of the east City limits.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota laws 1953,
Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the
City Charter.
