RESOLUTION NO. 46 - 1960
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS - SANITARY SEWER
INTERCEPTOR SYSTEM - NORTH OF RICE CREEK
WHEREAS, Resolution #42 -1960 of the City Council, adopted
the 19th day of April, 1960, set the date for hearing on the pro-
posed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hear-
ing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, All of the property owners whose property is liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in
said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the
Council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the re-
quired notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #42 -1960 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas
as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be per-
formed under one or more contracts as may be deemed ad-
visable upon receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are
hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 3RD
DAY OF MAY, 1960.

WHEREAS, Resolution #43 -1960 of the City Council adopted
the 19th day of April, 1960, set the date for hearing on the
proposed improvement, as specifically noted in the Notice of
Hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A", and,

CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 3rd day of May,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time and place hear all parties interested
in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction ( in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements to —wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
A. Sanitary Sewer Interceptor System located in and serving all of the
area described as follows:
1. That portion of the City of Fridley lying north of Rice Creek
which is not served with Sanitary Sewer at the present time. The bounda-
ries are the Great Northern and Northern Pacific Railways on the west,
the City limits on the north and east, and Rice Creek on the South.
ESTIMATED COST: ........................................... $ 732,136.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( AND EACH
OF THEM) IS AS FOLLOWS:
FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A, ABOVE:
All of the lands located in that portion of the City of Fridley
lying north of Rice Creek (which is not served with Sanitary
Sewer at the present time), the boundaries of which are the Great
Northern and Northern Pacific Railways of the West, the City
Limits on the north and east, and Rice Creek on the South.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve -
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise pro-
vided by the Council all under the following authority to —wit: Minn -
esota laws 1953 chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
