RESOLUTION NO. 49 -1969
A RESOLUTION REGARDING PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO SENATE
FILE #271 REGARDING SPLIT LIQUOR
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka-,County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council has previously gone on
record favoring the legislation to adopt split liquor; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce has proposed
an amendment to Senate File #271, which would permit a muni-
cipality to issue municipal and private liquor licenses.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the Fridley City Council
goes on record as being strongly in favor of the proposed
amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council re-
affirms its support of the principle of split liquor as
amended by the proposed amendment to Senate File #271.
