ized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications and

HEAPING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEArI'lv'TS:

WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property own-
ers affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as I"ollows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and
Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received
and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 7th day of June
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the
City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public
Hearing on the improvements noted in the Notice at-
tached hereto and made a part thereof by reference,
Exhibit "A".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said im-
provements and each of them as noted in said notice
are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice:
All of the same to be assessed proportionately accord-
ing to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
give notice of such public hearing by publishing a
notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City
of Fridley according to law, such notice to be sub-
stantially in the form and substance of the notice
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 7th day of June,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.V., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested
in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to wit:

A. Storm Sewer System for North University Watershed Area located in and
serving all of the area described as follows:
1. Area bounded generally by T.H. No. 100 on the South, Great Nor-
thern and Northern Pacific Railroad right of way on the West,
Mississippi Street, 64th Avenue and 61st Avenue on the north,
and Jackson Street and the extended line of Jackson Street
on the east and by all benefited and abutting property.

on the south. Great Northern and Northern Pacific Railroad right of
way on the west, Mississippi Street, 64th Avenue and 61st Avenue on

on the east, and by all benefited and abutting property.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by
the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota
Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conform -
ity with the City Charter.
