The work to be performed under Water Improvement Project No. 30 -J (Iron Lemcval PlanO 1960 and the respective schedules of work thereof, shall be performed under one or more contracts as the Council shall determine upon receipt of bids. The City Manager shall accordingly prepare and cause to be ' inserted in the official newspaper and such other newspaper or trade paper as required by law, advertisements for bids, etc., upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be pub - lished for 3 weeks (at least 21 Days), and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be opened and con - sidered at 12:00 o'clock, Noon, on the lyth day of March, 1962, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk, and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check pay - able to the City for five percent (5 %) of the amount of such bid.
