RES 1962-104 - 000124721_ 0 8 RESOLUTION NO. 104 -1962 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS ( STORM SEWER AND SANITARY SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 58 ) WHEREAS, Resolutions No. 42 (dated May 21, 1962) and No. 72 -1962 (dated July 30, 1962) set the date for hearing on the proposed improve- ments, as specifically noted in the notice of hearing attached hereto for reference as EXHIBIT "A ", and, WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the cou- ncil hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearings were held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT_RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. _ That the following improvements heretofore proposed by Council resolutions (see Resolutions No. 42- '_962 dated May 21, 1962 and No. 72 -1962, dated July 30, 19621) are now hereby further ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: a.) _Those improvements noted in the notices of hearing on the same (in Exhibit "A" attached hereto for reference and incorporated herein) comprising the work of the following, namely: STORM SEIhR AND SAN- ITARY SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 58. BRUNSELL ___�j F EX• 1 P�P� Eck.. .. 1 RESOLUTION NO. 10/+ EXHIBIT "A" SS&SW #58 CITY OF FRIDLEY NOTICE OF H ARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements hereinafter described be made. NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 27th day of ' August, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.11., the City Council will meet at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. The general nature of the improvements in the construction (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit: CONSTRUCTION ITEM: A. Storm Sewer and Water Service Connections and Sanitary Sewer Laterals and Service Connections located in all of the streets and serving all of the area described as follows: Central Avenue (County State Aid Highway No. 35) from Hatha- way Lane to Mississippi Street N.E. Mississippi Street N.E. from Central Avenue N.E. (County State Aid Highway No. 35) to East Corporate Limits (Stinson Blvd.) East Corporate Limits (Stinson Blvd.) from Mississippi Street N.E. to T.H. No. 100 (694). T.H. No. 100 (694) from East Corporate Limits (Stinson Blvd.) to T.H. No. 65. T.H. No. 65 from T.H. No. 100 (694) to Hathaway Lane. ESTIMATED COST ..... ..............................$ 74200.00 THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS: For Construction Item A, Above: All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands adjacent and abutting thereto. All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve - ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory, thereof, and in conformity with the City Charter.
