RESOLUTION NO. 105 -1962
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT-ON STORM SEWS?. AND SANITARY SEWER. AND
WATER IB,:PROV141IENT NO. 58 AND TO GIVE NOTICE RELATING TO BIDS TO OTHER
CONTRACTOR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. 1: The Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder for
construction of the improvement work designated as: STORM
SKFER AYD SAD<ITARY SK7R AND WATER IMPROVF�ENT PROJECT N0.58
(under construction bids called for by Resolution No. 72-
1962 dated July 300 1962) is BARBAROSSA AND SONS, INC., whose
a
bid is in the mount of $69,990.50. That said bid is hereby
accepted, (conditionally) and the P yor and the City Vanager
in office on date of execution of the contract are hereby
authorized and directed accordingly to enter into a contract
with said bidder for and in behalf of the City of Fridley,
as noted in Section 2, hereof.
Sec. 2: That the City shall give notice in writing to Bianconi Con-
struction Company of the bids received and the conditional
award herein made to Barbarossa and Sons, Inc., and should
such contractor, Bianconi Construction Company, fail within
five (5) days of such notice to execute a contract for the
work provided for and awarded under Resolution No. 63 -1962
dated July 16, 1962, then a contract for all of such work
as herein noted including that provided under Resolution No.
63 -1962 is and shall be made by the City with the contractor
noted herein, to -wit: Barbarossa and Sons, Inc.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 27TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1962.
