RES 1962-24 - 00012334.3 0 RESOLUTION NO. 24 -1962 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION CF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: Water & Sewer Project #55 WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That the preliminary report submitted by the City Engineer or Comstock & Davi Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received and accepted. . .2. That this Council will meet on the 7th day of May, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ". 3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice: All of the same to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received. 4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and sub- stance of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A". Gri RESOLUTION NO. 24 EXHIBIT "A" S&W #55 CITY CF FRIDLEY NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements hereinafter described be made. NOW, THEREFOR,, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 7th ' day of May, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and a place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. The general nature of the improvements is the construe - tion (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to wit: CONSTRUCTION ITEM: A. Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Lateral and Service Connec- tions located in all of the streets and serving all of the area described as follows: 1. 64th Ave. from alley E. of Central to Arthur Street. 2. Plat of Moore Lake Hills, 2nd Addn., Gardena Meloland Gardens and part of Meloland Gardens Addn. 3. 2� St. from 57� Ave. to 58th Ave. (Sewer only ) . 4. Taylor Street - in Marian Hills 2nd Addition (Water only ), ESTIMATED COST ..... ..............................$ 599360.00 THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS: FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A. ABOVE: All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands adjacent and abutting thereto. All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the City Charter.
