RESOLUTION N0. 30 -1962
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING AND ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID ROADS
AND STREETS IN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is entitled to certain aids and benefits
provided by law in the location, establishment, construction and mainten-
ance of certain roads and streets in the City of Fridley, commonly known
as Municipal State Aid Streets; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that such streets be located and designated
by resolution of the Council of the City of Fridley, and such location and
designation be approved by the State of Minnesota Highway Department;
WHEREAS, the property owner had requested that Municipal State Aid
Street, Section 08, be relocated north to the extension of 73rd Avenue
west from State Highway No. 47 (University Avenue N.E.) to County State
Aid Highway No. 1 (East River Road).
NOW THEREFORE, BE'IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley as
follows:
1. In accordance with the requirements of the laws of the State of
Minnesota applicable thereto, the City of Fridley does hereby
locate in the City of Fridley and establish and designate as
Municipal State Aid Street, in accordance with the requirements
of law, the following public road or street, to be identified by
number as follows:
Municipal State Aid Street No. 300 - 73rd Avenue centered on the
south line of the N.W. 4 of
Section 11 and the south line
of N.E. 4 of Section 10, be-
tween C. S.A. S. No. 1 and State
Highway No. 47,
and in like manner dors hereby revoke the designation of Municipal
Aid Street from the following named streets:
Meyers Avenue and Meyers Avenue extension easterly from
County State Aid Highway No. 1 (East River Road) to State
Highway No. 47 (University Avenue N.E.).
2. That a tr us and correct copy of this resolution and the relocation
of this Municipal State Aid Street in the City of Fridley as deter-
mined by this resolution may and shall be forwarded by the City
Clerk as provided by law to the State of Minnesota Highway Depart-
ment; and upon the approval and consent of said Department thereto,
the determination and designation shall be full and complete with-
out further fact or resolution of the Council
