RES 1962-58 - 00012401j �J RESOLUTION NO. 57 -1962 A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING CHARGES TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO BE LEVIED AGAINST CERTAIN PROPERTIES FOR COLLECTION WITH THE 1962 TAXES WHEREAS, a nuisance condition has been found to exist on Lot 6 and 7s Block 43 Adams Street Addition to the City of Fridley, and, WHEREAS, the owner of such property was given notice to abate such nuisance, and, WHEREAS, the owner of such property did not abate such nuisance , and the City of Fridley, under authority of Section, 115.23 Minnesota State Statute of 1953 did= therefore abate tee nuisance at a cost of $95.00. NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the County Auditor for collection with the 1962 taxes, the charges as listed below: Lots 6 and 7, Block 11, Adams Street Addition $95.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2ND DAY OF JULY, 1962, BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF FRIDLEY, ANOKA COiiNTY, MINNESOTA. MAYOR C/V C TY MANAGER ATTEST: RESOLUTION N0. 58 - 1962 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRFM IXINARY PIANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS TiERECF: (WATER AND SANITARY SEVER - PROJECT NO. 50) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 6� 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed cer- tain improvements, to -wit: a. Sanitary Sewer mains and laterals and service connections in all the lands and streets located as fol- lows: (1) Along Marshall Street from 37th Avenue N.E. to the Minneapolis Waterworks and lying between East River Road and the Mississippi River. b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been received and filed with the City as follows: (1) Petition No. 42 -1960 relating to Item a (1) above. 21 That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed cer- tain improvements, to -wit: a. Water service Mains and Laterals and Service Connections in all lands and streets located as fol- lows: (1) Along Marshall Street from 37th Avenue N.E. to the Minneapolis Waterwotks and lying between East River Road and the Mississippi River. b, That petitions relative to said improvements have been received and filed with the City as follows: (1) Petition No. 42 -1960 relating to Item a (1) above. 3, That the City Engineer and Comstock and Davis, Incor- porated, Consulting Engineers, are hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incur- red (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a oreli.minary report of their findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements ( and the esti- mated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. h. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be pronosed to be assessed for said improvements (and each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer or Engineers of the said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assess- ments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. 5. That said preliminary report of the Engineer or Engineers and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be fur - nished to the Council, and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient. ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 2ND DAY OF JULY, 1962.
